Fashion Designer & Owner of Made in Afrooklyn

In 2013, Berchell Egerton founder of Made in Afrooklyn found his calling in Senegal, Africa where as a young fashion designer he felt inspired to bring Africa back to Brooklyn.  Formerly designing formal wear for fashion shows and proms, Berchell saw an opportunity to bridge urban wear with formal attire creating what he calls, "Hood Formal".  Berchell states, "Afrooklyn is growing up". The future of Afrooklyn is prepared to take it's Hood Formal apparel to the next level, designing two tone suits, vests, and more.
